Had a partial 12 years ago with the extremely premature birth of my twins (26 weeks) as a result of a complete placenta previa. I was hospitalized for a month following their birth so bleeding had stop by the time I was discharged. But during the delivery, my already weakened bladder was injured. I was discharged with a catheter. the catheter was removed about 2 months post-op. I am 45 now. I am at my heaviest weight. I too am petite. The belly fat is the main issue as I am a snacker too. About 4 months ago while visiting my son I got a sudden urgent as he was dropping me off at the airport. I stood up, grabbed my suitcase, hugged him…and peed myself. Embarrassing!!! Good thing the restroom was near the uncrowded entrance door and a had everything in my suitcase that I needed to clean myself including soap, towel, and clean change of clothes. I had no urge when I first stood up. SMH!

Went into full menopause 😢

Yesterday marked one week post abdominal hysto taking uterus and cervix ( tubes were already gone) no lap as uterus was to big from adenomyosis. 3dpo I ended back in hospital with sepsis. Keep in mine complications can occur. I'm still in terrible pain bowel and bladder movements are also painful. Few recommendations to everyone. 1. Check temp every few hours. 2. If pain is to much know something might be wrong. 3. Take a stool softener. The first few weeks hurt to use the toilet let alone if God forbid you ended with constipation. 4. If pain is tolerable do not push yourself. You will have sudden onset fatigue and dixmzzyness.
